Prawns Gokarma
Special in-house masala on a banana leaf.

Slow coastal plates, fresh prawns, pancakes for late risers — served under old trees, blue doors and string lights in Gokarna.
our little courtyard
Aangan means courtyard — the open patch of home where people drift in, sit long, eat slow. That is the spirit we cook with on Kudle hilltop: small menu, big flavour, banana leaves, clay bowls, a hammock between the trees and time enough to actually use it.

from the kitchen
Local seafood, simple grains, in-house masalas. Most plates land on a banana leaf in a clay bowl.

The thali we all keep coming back for.

Light, soothing, anything-but-bland.

Slow mornings, sweet ends.
the owners
Aangan is a little world of its own — books stacked on the counter, a clay pot of cool water by the door, and a hammock waiting outside. The owners cook what they'd want to eat after a long walk on the beach, and treat every guest like they've come over to theirs.

come over
Wander up from Kudle beach, past the cows and the cashew trees. The blue doors and the woven lantern give us away.
